Pharmacy NVQ Level 3 Course
Our Level 3 course consists of the following two nationally recognised qualifications
BOTH of these qualifications are certified by City & Guilds and General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) recognised.
Year 1: Level 3 Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science (QCF) - the knowledge based qualification
Course fee: £949 +vat
Year 2: Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Pharmacy Service Skills (QCF) - the competence based qualification

Course requirements:
1. Four GCSE passes or equivalent. For Candidates with previous experience of working in a pharmacy setting other entry qualifications may be acceptable.
2. You need to work under the supervision of a registered Pharmacist or registered Pharmacy Technician for the duration of the course.

Learning & Assessment:
For the Level 3 Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science (QCF) - There are 19 mandatory units to complete as part of this qualification. Candidates will be required to complete one assignment for each unit.
For the Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Pharmacy Service Skills (QCF) - There are 14 mandatory units and three optional units to complete as part of this qualification. Candidates will be required to write activity reports with witness testimony for each unit. Other assessment methods include professional discussions and workbook exercises.
Course length: 2 years
Study time: 10 hours per week
GPhC Registration: By completing both of these courses under the supervision of a pharmacist for a minimum number of hours per week, you will be eligible to register as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
