Rx Advisor Limited is a provider of prescribing and medicines management services and seeks to work in collaboration with NHS organisations. Our key services are provided to GP practices, both dispensing doctors & prescribing only practices, NHS Primary Care Organisations, and community pharmacies. We pride our selves on our track record of excellence with demonstrable and proven outcomes. With over 100,000 patients reviewed and in excess of 50,000 interventions we have the experience and confidence in helping the NHS achieve better health outcomes and financial balance.
The Darzi review, Pharmacy White Paper, and World Class Commissioning, all have a common theme; the provision of better healthcare to the nation with efficient use of resources and demonstrable outcomes. The aspirations of the Department of Health to ensure commissioning is focused on delivering better health outcomes and quality of health care for people is at the heart of everything that we do at Rx Advisor Limited.

Rx Advisor was formed to meet the needs of NHS organisations and to work in partnership with existing PCT Medicines Management and GP Commissioning Cluster teams. Our focus is to ensure that primary care prescribing is in line with national guidelines and best practice, and, that it is cost effective and most importantly that it results in the desired outcomes for patients.
Our specialist teams work closely with GP’s, PCT’s, and community pharmacies to help promote cost effective evidence based prescribing. We have helped numerous GP practices and PCTs to achieve financial balance and more efficient use of NHS resources. And more importantly, we have helped practices achieve better patient outcomes on their Quality and Outcome Frameworks (QOFs).
We pride ourselves in being specialists in a range of areas of medicines management and we partner with other organisations that compliment our services to ensure that the service we deliver to our clients is of the highest possible standard.
