Pharmacy NVQ Level 3 Course
Our Level 3 course consists of the following two nationally recognised qualifications certified by City & Guilds. Both of these qualifications are delivered together by distance learning as part of this course. Both of these qualifications are recognised by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
1. Level 3 Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science (QCF) - the knowledge based qualification
Course fee: £949 (+vat) - Year 1
2. Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Pharmacy Service Skills (QCF) (formerly the NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services) - the
competence based qualification
Course fee: £749 (+vat) - Year 2

Course requirements:
Level 3 Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science (QCF) - There are 19 mandatory units to complete as part of this qualification.
Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Pharmacy Service Skills (QCF) - There are 14 mandatory units and three optional units to complete as part of this qualification.

Learning & Assessment:
For the Level 3 Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science (QCF) - candidates will be required to complete one assignment for each unit.
For the Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Pharmacy Service Skills (QCF) - candidates will be required to complete a portfolio of evidence with witness testimony for each unit. Other assessment methods may include direct observation of practice, questioning and assignments, professional discussions, and workbook exercises to meet individual candidate requirements.
You will be assessed in your workplace, so you need to have a job or trainee post within a dispensary setting.
